LOBBY & TURN FLOW

From lobby to your next turn

A provisional Demo sequence, with sourced UI labels and the unresolved timing questions kept visible.

B · INDIE TOME DEMO GUIDE · NO BUILD IDENTIFIER

The steps below summarize a third-party guide, not a session played by this wiki. They are useful for recognizing the reported flow, but an interface change can invalidate a label or sequence. The date of our source check is November 5, 2026; it is not the date the source played or captured the game.

Reported sequence

  1. Lobby: the guide describes at least two participants, with guests marking READY before the host starts.
  2. First actor: the machine selects the opening player randomly.
  3. Card window: the account places card use on your own turn, before pressing.
  4. Action: press a button, then observe whether play passes on or an injury occurs.
  5. New round: the guide describes another card allocation.

KEEP or REPLACE?

The same guide describes KEEP as retaining leftovers and filling the remaining hand, while REPLACE exchanges the whole hand for a fresh set. It does not establish the numeric hand limit or selection probabilities. Source: IndieTome getting-started guide ↗.

Editorial decision aid: before committing, identify which visible card you are trying to preserve and what problem you expect it to solve. If you cannot read its current effect, you cannot evaluate that tradeoff reliably. Write down the actual before-and-after hand for your first attempt. This is a learning method, not a claim that retaining or replacing is mathematically superior.

Timing questions to check in the live build

Do not assume that the short sequence establishes how many cards may be played, whether animations lock input, whether players may respond out of turn, or when an effect expires. Those are separate mechanics. Similarly, pressing a button and completing its resolution are not necessarily the same instant.

If a card appears unavailable, record whether you have already acted, whether a status is active, and what the interface says. Do not repeatedly click to force an effect: that makes a timing report harder to interpret. Use the reported card reference to identify the name, then verify the live text.

When an injury happens

The official October 12 announcement establishes that one lost hand need not end your participation. It does not provide a full lives/reset specification. Keep watching the current prompts instead of leaving automatically after an injury. Record whether you remain an active participant, become a spectator, or advance to another round; these outcomes need direct observation to document accurately.
