Influence cards, at a glance

ArtDock describes influence cards used between turns to alter odds, protect a player, sabotage others or trigger chaotic events. The categories below explain those broad roles. They are editorial groupings, not official card names.

01 / SELF

Protection

Ask what is protected, when protection begins, and which event ends it. Never assume protection applies to every consequence.

02 / TABLE

Odds manipulation

Check which decision changes and how long the change lasts. An altered chance is not a guarantee.

03 / TABLE

Sabotage

Check the target and the timing. Distinguish an effect on one player from an effect on the shared challenge.

04 / TABLE

Disruption

Read the new state after the effect resolves. Do not continue a plan that depends on the previous state still being true.

Read a card in five steps

  1. Target: who or what is affected?
  2. Timing: when can it be played, and when does it resolve?
  3. Duration: is the effect immediate, temporary or persistent?
  4. Conditions: what must be true for the effect to work?
  5. Interaction: could another active effect change the result?

This is a reading framework, not a statement that every card exposes all five fields.

What this reference cannot settle

No readable build identifier or dated per-card evidence accompanies the third-party catalogue. The word “Demo” is its scope label; it is not proof that these records match the version installed today. Search results for distinctive card names did not supply an independent second account. Another article repeating ArtDock’s broad card premise does not verify an individual entry.

One entry has internally unclear movement wording. We flag that uncertainty instead of choosing an interpretation. Numeric probabilities, precise duration exceptions and combinations are deliberately not expanded into a strategy calculator.

For a disagreement, compare the current in-game tooltip first, then reproduce the behavior in the same build. Record the complete prior state, not just the result. An unexpected interaction is a candidate bug report or guide correction; it is not enough to label the card broken.

See the reported lobby and turn sequence for the timing context, and claim ledger for the remaining verification gaps.
